THIS BIRD IS FUCKING TALKING?
| This is a catch-all post for everything off-locket, timeskip, etc etc. Please note the date of the intended message and the method in the subject line of your comment. Thank you!

Since you're gifted with the power to speak to the earth itself, then you must be able to hear it even when it's frozen entirely. Aghmhor, which is further south than Dorchadas, is a coastal land that never sees this kind of harsh weather.
I'm afraid the crops the people here have grown will be ruined as a result. Treun's especially known for how much they produce each year, so much that their pastures stretch as far as the eye can see. I suspect what they grow here feeds a surprising number of natives throughout Allaidh Darach.
Do you understand now why I'm calling to speak to you about this? The Jabberwock child already desecrated the land of Dorchadas and if the people there can't grow, they have to rely on those whose lands were able to bear fruit.
... and I don't think the people of this land grow crops that will survive a deep freeze. It's a coastal land.

I had wanted to help heal the areas destroyed in the conflict, but now I see the situation is more dire than I could have imagined. War brings many things with it. Famine, disease, angry spirits-- these things are not unheard of. We must all deal with the consequences.
[He nods his head.]
I will do what I can. My healing skills are severely limited, but I will speak to the earth. I pray it will listen.

I haven't heard of many who can speak to it so casually so maybe there's something there you can find out. A way we can help it.
... or at least a way to save these plants from rotting away.

[It would be so much easier if he could just shaman-teleport everywhere, but that's not really... how it works. A spiritual journey is dangerous, and he needs to be there in person to help calm the elements anyway.]

The pause is brief as Rin was a girl who thought of clever solutions as soon as the problem presented itself. ]
Lucetta is a clegg that is used to traveling this world. I could send Lord El-Melloi II to pick you up, but it's likely you'd need to stay a day or two in order for her to get her rest. She hasn't carried someone of your stature to my knowledge.
[ It was probably easy for her to carry Waver and Rin all the time. They're skinny and tiny. ]

The village I am staying in is... not entirely accepting of outsiders in its current condition. However, I could take the fairy ring to the Station unless there is something preventing me from doing so. The trip would not be so far and there is certainly lodging to be found in that area.

It's your call. She travels quick, if you can't manage to get close enough to the Station. There's... no telling what that part of the world is like. I, I haven't had a chance to go by.

I will make my way to the Station, then. I only need a short time to gather my things.

After all, everyone by now knew of the creature that stomped through the area. There's no telling what the condition of the Station was like, much less anything around it. Rin herself is so focused on it that shre almost forgets a necessary piece of information, but it springs up in her mind quick enough. ]
Oh! The fairy ring you'll want to travel to is the Shipyard Ring! Don't forget it, all right? Ship. Yard.

Is it? I have been there before. In that case, I will go directly from the La Llorona ring to the Shipyard Ring. That would be the most efficient.
[Hooray last minute travel plans.]

I'll tell Lord El-Melloi II to expect you then. Take care.
